1st alternate on the USA U-23 Team for the 2003 Duathlon World Championships. Overall Champion at the Pacific Crest Olympic Distance Duathlon (’03) and second place finishes at both the Gorgefest Triathlon of the Gods (’04) and the California Tinman Triathlon (’04)

High School Highlights:
Team Captain and Number 1 runner for nationally ranked high school program (Bend High). All-State 1500 and 3000 senior year. Bend High School Hall of Fame. Coached by Bob Latham
