Post Collegiate Highlights:
Just starting, but looking forward to being a part of one the best options for post-collegiate athletes in Team XO. Currently being coached by Chris Johnson of Siuslaw high school. Also currently learning from Marnie Mason now at Southern Oregon University by being her assistant. Inspired by experiences this fall working for Nike's Cross Country tour as a XC Long Hauler.
Collegiate Highlights:
Member of four Conference Champion teams at Southern Oregon University (three track, one cross country).
Qualified individually for two NAIA National Track meets (2003 in 800m, 2005 in 4x800 relay).
Member of three conference champion 4x400 teams (2002, 2003, 2005).
Conference runner-up in 800 behind teammate Trevor Palmer in 2005.
Took third in conference meet in the 400 twice ( 2002 with stress fracture, 2003).
High School Highlights:
The 2000 3A State Champion at 800 meters with a time of 1:56.7 beating eventual college teammate Ross Dexter by .07 (Dexter won the next year). Ran top 3A time that year with a school record time of 1:55.9 at Grants Pass Rotary Meet. Qualified for state in three events senior year ( 2nd in 200, 2nd in 400, 1st in 800 at district meet), but dropped shorter distances to focus on 800 at state. All-State in cross country senior year. Member of two district champion cross country teams (1999 and 2000). Qualified for state in 1500 and 4x400 junior year (13th in 1500, 7th in 4x400). South Umpqua Athlete of the Year for 2000 school year.
