2005: Finished the year ranked 25th Among Americans and 56th best mark in the world. Jumped a lifetime best 7’2 ½ at the Oregon Twilight. Won at all appearances at Hayward field as well as every meet held in Oregon. Eclipsed the 7 foot mark in 8 meets.
2004: Qualified for USA Indoor nationals by jumping a lifetime pr and UW facility record of 7’1/4 at the Husky Invite. Took 7th place at first USA national meet by clearing 7’0 ½.
Collegiate Highlights:
In 1998, won Pac-10 title as a true freshman with a jump of 7’0 ½. Followed up freshman campaign with a third place finish at the conference meet in Tempe AZ. Returned to championship form in senior season after redshirting, by winning the indoor conference championship meet in Flagstaff AZ. Won all four home meets at Hayward field during Senior campaign clearing at least 7 feet in all four. Closed out career at Oregon with another 3rd Place finish at the Pac-10 Championships in 2002, after jumping the same height as the eventual winner but the victor had one fewer miss. Finished career ranked in the top 10 all time list for the Ducks as well as adding a Pac-10 All academic conference award.

High School Highlights:
Class 3A State Champion in the High jump. Johnson still holds the 3A state meet record at Hayward Field with a jump of 6’9 ¼. Also a two time district champion and district meet record holder. Competed at the state meet three years, placing each time. 1995 (8th), 1996 (4th) , and 1997 (1st ) Undefeated during senior season with the Knights and never lost a district meet spanning three years. Placed ninth at the National High School Track & Field Championships in Raleigh North Carolina. Three sport athlete, earning two letters in Soccer, three in Basketball , and four in Track while earning All conference honors and competing at the State Championships in each of them.
