third consecutive win in the Northern Oregon XC Series. "These
races that X-Dog puts on are some pretty great courses with mud,
barriers, and interesting terrain that make them a lot of fun to
run." , comments King in a post race interview.

6 2004 :: Paul Kezes rolls to a 13th
place finish. Paul said after the race, "This was a great experience,
I can't wait to run against these guys again at Club Nationals and
the World Cross Trials."

26 2004 :: Paul Kezes continues to roll as he wins for the second
consecutive week. Kezes won at the Bend Bigfoot Run by over 40 seconds
clocking in at 29:34.

12 2004 :: Lauren
Wiener won a close battle to Hallie Janssen in the final
stretch of this years Pints to Pasta 10k. Jacob Stout followed suit
by winning the men's title in a time of 31:30.3. XO's third individual
entrant John Mantalas rolled to a second place finish. All the XO
athletes enjoyed the PINTS and The PASTA...

Paul Kezes smashed the Team XO 8k record with a lifetime best of
23:22.0 , winning the Eugene Celebration race.

Jenny Rodgers competed in her first race of the 2004 season and
won the race in decisive fashion finishing with a time of 18:51:37.
Finishing second in the race was University of Alaska Anchorage's
Kamie Jo Massey who crossed the line in 19:34:35.

Hit Wonder |
August 1 2004 :: XO Newcomer Jacob Stout, made his mark in his debut race, by winning the 5k at the highly publicized Nike Run Hit Wonder, in a time of 31:59. Three other XO athletes also competed in the race, all placing high. Brandon Workman came in 4th in the 5k with a time of 15:08. While Lauren Wiener and Tara Crowley showed and impressive one two punch by coming in third and sixth in the 10k.
